Concord, New
Hampshire is within the boundaries of Merrimack County. Rumford and Penacook
were the original names given to present day Concord.
Settlers came to
the area sometime during 1725. The city became prosperous with its travel
coaches, fine furniture and granite quarries.
Franklin Pierce
lived in Concord, New Hampshire.
