“St. Peter School is a small tight-knit school where there is only one classroom per grade and a lot of parental involvement. My children have attended for two years (Pre-K and K) and we are happy so far with the academic program. I am not a practicing Catholic (not all the families are), but I do like the emphasis that the school places on community service. After all, how you treat other people is as important a lesson as learning reading and math. The school is diverse in an international sort of way (Parents come from Catholic countries all over the world, i.e. Brazil, France.) as well as a blue-collar/white collar way. If you are unhappy with the disorder in the public school system and cannot afford the pricey private schools in Cambridge, this is a viable alternative.”
