The headmaster hasn't had a new idea in about 50 years. No parental involvement. Last year the school hosted four foreign exchange students, from the Ukraine, Brazil, and South Korea respectively. Classes are still small however, so the student gets the maximum amount of attention they require, and the student-teacher relationship is kept close. Last years' High School production of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court was a huge success, and the choirs and ensemble performed several times. We now also have several varsity sports teams, and I love that each girl participates on an interscholastic team, whether varsity or not. Southfield has been a great experience for my daughter and still is today. She likes her teachers and has excelled well. This school also offers a wonderful science program.”
